What are your feelings towards smoking? What rights do you think smokers and non-smokers should have?
I think smoking is neutral, to me. My parents smoke. Studies show that people who have parents as smoker are more likely to smoke than people with parents who don't. I've smoked for awhile, & I've stopped but I don't think it was because of them, it was more because of the group of people I hung out with, which I don't right now. But I'm a second hand smoker as well. So.. there's no difference whether I smoke or not, right? Anyway I think I'm digressing here.
I think smokers should have the right to smoke anywhere, including restricted places as long as the people around (e.g non smokers) don't mind. But if they were to ask - politely,of course - the smoker to stop, then they should. In fact there shouldn't be any restricted non smoking areas for smokers. This is will have many questions of course like "What about eating places?" Well yeah as i said, if the people around are okay with it, why not?
As for non-smokers, (is a 2nd hand smoker considered one?) you/we guys have the right to speak up for ourselves & also should have the right to just say "STOP".
